Wasteland Weekend 2021
After skipping 2020 due to the global pandemic the Wasteland Weekend festival bounced back to life again this past September out in the Mojave desert. Below is a selection of some of the custom rides that were taking part in the festival's vehicle cruise. Also below is a look at the poster art I created for the rock concert on site.

Melvin Zed's Mad Max - Violence in the Cinema - Part One
The first of a series of books that looks at the making of the Mad Max franchise and probably what will be the ultimate tome on the subject has just started it's backing fund on Ulule. Researched intensively by author Melvin Zed who traveled to the film's locations and interviewed many of the crew involved to get their accounts of the production from which he has produced a volume that is over 400 pages packed with information, unique insights and images of the first Mad Max movie. This is a must have for all true Mad Max fans. This edition is in French with future editions to be translated into English, Japanese and Italian. Furiosa Press announcement
Although word had traveled around that pre-production on the Fury Road prequel had already been well underway, we finally have the first official announcement from George Miller that Furiosa, as the film will be titled, is in production with financial assistance from the government of NSW. The announcement was made this week with producer Doug Mitchell and star Chris Hemsworth joining Miller on the Fox Studio Lot in Sydney.
