Bunraku
I enjoyed this. The story was just ok but the visuals really carried it. Great title sequence too which you can find at the end of this post.

Lockout
Many are saying that this new movie with Guy Pearce has something of an Escape from New York/ Snake Plissken vibe about it. From the trailer it looks like fun but the poster they've designed for it is a leading contender for worst movie promo image of the year so far!

Twisted Metal... the movie!
Sony has assigned Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance co-director Brian Taylor the task of making a movie based on the game Twisted Metal. The vehicular mayhem will be played out against a plot something like this... "an underground event that pits a number of combatants in a fight to the death… The proprietor of the race is Calypso, a string-puller dedicating to examining the human condition, such as what makes a peaceful man violent, what terrifies a violent man and who will make a Faustian bargain in which they risk their lives. The sole survivor will get any wish granted."
